INotes 8.5 replace design not working

Hello,

I replaced the design of a mail file with the 8.5 Mail template.

When I accessed the inotes mail file over the web, the UI still showed the DWA 7.0.3 design.

The server where the mail file is residing is still Domino 7.0.3.

Could this be the issue?

Hi,

DWA/iNotes relies heavily on the Forms database. Each Release has it’s own associated Forms database - i.e.: Release 6.x was Forms6.nsf, Release 7 has the Forms7.nsf, etc. Your Server requires the Forms8.nsf to have the full DWA 8 look. Unfortunately, it is not as simple to just take the Forms8.nsf and put it on your Server, as there are other files involved (Cab files, etc). If you would like to have the DWA 8 look, then you will need to upgrade your Domino Server.
