i’ve got a very large user community coming online shortly - they’ll all be iNotes 8.5 users. I’m documenting features and when I was workign through the calendar printing features, the dialog box says to use the print icon in the preview window to send your calendar to the printer. One small problem - no printer button appears in the preview window. Search, help, attachments, go to page, and comments buttons all appear, but no PRINT!!! i had to right click to get a pop-up menu that had a print options.
anyone else seeing this? was/is there a template update available?

Subject: blame it on Adobe…
a co-worker found that his workstation had a totally different look and feel for the print dialog box. further investigation showed that the feature is totally dependant on the version of Adobe installed. i’m running 8.0.0 on a locked down workstation, which cannot received updates for ‘build installed’ apps. i’ll be experimenting on an ‘unlocked’ machine to determine what this function looks like through each of the adobe .x patches…

Just tried this with my mail. If you press the words “Refresh Preview” at the top of the dialog box, the window fills with the Print button, along with other pdf-related buttons (save, etc).
The full message in the print dialog is
"To view your settings, click Refresh Preview.
To print, click the print button in the preview window. "
But yeah, it could be a little more clear.

it’s curious that your print preview button is at the top. in my print dialog box, it’s at the bottom. My original post mentioned that I had clicked on print preview and there were five other buttons, but not Print.
what’s the version/date of the template you are using (assuming you haven’t modified the stock template)?
