Inline Image is not visible in Mail [IMAGE] - C.DTF

Hi All,

I have a mail-in database to which I transfer mails that goes to a particular email id, for eg: kkk@kkk.com (dummy id for an example). The idea is if anyone sent a mail to this mail ID it will be transferred to the mail-in db I’ve mentioned earlier.

Mail routing is working fine as expected but mails sent from Mozilla Thunderbird & Outlook are not being shown correctly in the Mail-in database. The problem occurs when I insert an inline image in the mail from Thunderbird or Outlook.

In Lotus notes client when I open the mail document(s) I can’t see embedded image(s) instead [IMAGE] in red color comes. The mail document also contains an attachment C.DTF, which is actually the first image inserted but with a wrong name and extension.

If I send a mail from Notes client this mail ID with inline embedded images then this problem does not happen

My Mail-In database’s Internet Message Storage field value is No Preference.

The interesting fact is that everything works fine in my personal mail db. I mean if I send a mail from Thunderbird or Outlook with an inline image that mail document shows the images properly.

Can anyone explain why it is showing inconsistent behavior for almost identical situations?

Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

Thx

JP

Subject: embedded image issues

Hi, I was wondering if there as been any updates to this issue. We are receiving the same. Receiving the html email only displays the first image, but editing the email (to reply or forward) then shows all of the images. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
