Next go to www.lotus.com/doc and see the additional information available for Domino Designer. Also check the resources for R6.5, because there are some documents, that have not been updated.
Finally go to www.redbooks.ibm.com and search for “Domino Designer 6”. The Developer’s Handbook should get you going.

well my company is going to get me all set up eventually, but so for I have nothing. I am trying to learn what ever I can first, because when set me up with designer they, even though I tolled them I nothing about this, will expect me to hit the ground runing. So, I was hoping that someone could recomend a web site that I could goto to learn. I am VB developer, and from what I found so far it looks simular; at least the scripts does.

You’ll also need to learn about forms, views, subforms, outlines and all the other elements used to create databases. There are a number of books at your local bookstore or on Amazon.com to get you started.

Thank you I have been learning these, and as a VB developer, these are the easy things. What the books I have do not give me, or at least very much is the, scripting language. That I why my original question was not what do I need to learn, but does anyone know where on the web I can find info on a Lotus Scripts and formulas. There must be some place, I just have not found it yet; and thought if anyone would know it would be here. If I was looking for this same thing in VB, Java, C++ I would find a ton of help on the net. So, again, if someone can tell me this I would really appreciate it.

Understanding forms (and being able to tell the difference from pages and documents) and views (and being able to distinguish between shared views, private views and folders) was the easy part? Don’t be too sure, that it’s all too much like VB (storing data to what back-end?) …
If you’re just waiting for the guy to post the URL to the one web site you were unable to find yourself, you might wait forever.
What makes (any) web site better then all the materials (which are available for off-line reading) that have already been suggested to you (starting off with Designer help)? Don’t take it as an offense, but just hold your breath for a moment and think if taking the advice given seriously might not be worth it.
