When a user clicks to create PDF in an existing document, it needs to append a version # to the end of the unique doc ID. e.g. ABC123-1.pdf. I created a version field with default value of 0 and a simple formula. I could call something from the button before kicking off the PDF script. Any thoughts? If 1 PDF has been created, the version field should be 1. If the user creates PDF, the version field should be +1 or 2 and the filename would be ABC123-2.pdf. Seems simple… looking for ideas. Should I call agent?
