Incorrectly number of unread message

In mail database, the number of unread letters is not correctly displayed both in the Inbox folder and in user folders where letters are moved according to the rules.

I read similar problems and took the note.ini parameter from there REPLICATOR_SYNC_UNREAD=h did not help.

First question: Are you talking about different replicas? If this is just one database, then the parameter you found does not help at all....

If it is just about the unread count on the folders being wrong, then the answer is: Yes, sometimes they become "out of sync" and need to be fixed manually using the following steps:

  1. Create a folder called "temporary unread" (or whatever name you want to give it)
  2. Goto "All documents" view
  3. Switch view to show only unread (from the "Show" menu on the right of the action bar)
  4. Select all unread mails and put them in the folder created in step 1
  5. Mark all the mails as "Read" using menu: "Edit - Unread marks - Mark all read"
    At that point all the numbers at the folders will disappear
  6. Go to the folder "temporary unread", select all mails, mark them as "unread" using the "insert" key or again menu "Edit - Unread marks - Mark selected unread"
  7. Remove the folder you created in step 1

With this steps the folder unread count will be fixed and (hopefully) stay fixed..

Thanks for the help.
This article was the first thing I came across.
But the problem is that most of the effective methods are one-time or apply to one mail.
I failed to do as indicated in the article and it helps, but it helps for a while. There are many users and the problem occurs periodically for different users. Recreating a replica, moving letters from folder to folder is too time-consuming, in addition, the problem reappears after 2-4 weeks.

I would request you to raise a support case so that we gather data (Unread logs) for few of the affected user to understand what is going wrong.
