Inbox not updated automatically when receive email

Hi, appreciate if anyone can help me in this.

I’m new to Lotus Notes, and I’ve just installed the new Lotus Notes 8. The problem that I’m facing now is, my Inbox won’t get updated itself. I’ll only get new emails which was sent long time ago, if I send out a new email.

Scenario:

  1. No new email received in Inbox for few hours.

  2. Started and completed replication, still no new emails.

  3. Tried sending empty email to myself or to any email address.

  4. Once the email sent out, I’ll receive new emails in Inbox which sent few hours ago.

Not sure if there is any setting problem?

Have you tried this?

Click on File → Preferences → Mail → Sending and Receiving. Select “Check for new mail every ** minutes” replacing the asterisks with whatever number of minutes you’d like. Beneath that setting check “Refresh Inbox Automatically”.

Not sure if this is your issue, but there’s a 8.0.2 FP4 SPR for an Inbox refresh issue. The SPR is WTON7U8K7B. “Inbox automatic refresh breaks after opening messages in a conversation thread. (Technote #1394659)”
