Have you made sure that the View All/View UnRead button is not hiding the emails that have been read? If you want to see ALL email it should show as View Unread

I have seen this a couple of times. Sometimes creating a new replica or copy might work but usually you have to perform a restore for tape. And then copy/paste the documents from the orginal (All Documents view) into the restored copy (Inbox).

I’ve seen cases where, for unknown reason, there were two folders named ($inbox) in the database. Deleting the redundant one solved the problem. In cases where there is just one ($inbox), deleting it and refreshing the design fixes the problem. Note: it does not restore missing messages to the inbox. Those have to be moved back from All Documents.

i resolve now a similar problem opening the db pressing shift + ctrl from the administrator tool
Go to view and you find the 2 inbox. In one there is all inbox mail, so move it in a backup folder (created before), delete the fake inbox from the designer and reopen the mail file and move the backupped mail to the correct inbox view…
hope this help

You have a corrupt inbox. You need to rename that inbox folder to a different name, and refresh the design again. Then NEW mail should start going in, but not those ones you already ‘lost’ to the ‘All Documents’. Then delete the renamed inbox. Otherwise, it stays corrupted. This has happened to us a handful of times.

Using the designer client open the inbox folder design and save it.
