Inbox count zero

One of our user’s Inbox count does not show at all. I tried resetting the inbox count using the unread marks solution but that did not work. Any ideas greatly appreciated? TIAI was thinking a design refresh would be the next step?

When you have Inbox issues and all else fails:Move all documents from the Inbox to a new folder. In designer, delete the ($Inbox) folder. Then do a design refresh, which will create a brand new inbox. Move the documents back to the new inbox.
