Inbound Mails Marked As Read

I have a remote user (local replica on notebook) whose inbound mail is marked as read. This is all mail in the $Inbox including new mails. Any ideas why this would happen?

Subject: Don’t maintain unread marks checked?

Did you check if the “Don’t maintain unread marks” option is checked on the propellerhead-tab of the database?

Created new replica and it sorted the issue.
