In LotusScript how do I get a handle on the document the pointer is on in a view?

Hello,In LotusScript, how do I get a handle on the document the view pointer is on?

The following only gets the document the user has ticked in the view on the left.

Set uiview = workspace.CurrentView

Set dc = uiview.Documents

But I need the document that the view pointer is currently on.

Many thanks in advance.

You want the UIView.CaretNoteId property - you can make a call to database.getDocumentbyID with that to get a NotesDocument object.

You may want to check out NotesDatabase.UnprocessedDocuments in the Designer help. Think that should help you. Would post more info but the server with the Designer Help on it is down at the mo here :frowning:

Good luck
