The In Folder condition seems to be broken in ND7. When I create a new view, and set the selection criteria to In Folder XXX, the view still shows me every document no matter what folder it is in. Has anyone else seen this?

So, for those that may be trying to do something like this as well…
-
Make a new copy of the $folderinfo view and name it whatever you want (folderinfolookup in my case)
-
Make the folder UNID column the first column and categorize it
-
Put a field with the following formula in it in your doc as a computed field.
@If(@IsError(@DbLookup(“”:“”;@DbName;“(FolderInfoLookup)”;@Text($FolderRef);“$Title”));“None”;@DbLookup(“”:“”;@DbName;“(FolderInfoLookup)”;@Text($FolderRef);“$Title”))
You can now filter your views by the value of that field, which will be the folder it is in…though it requires that the doc be resaved when you change folders… I’m still workin on that heh.

Found a way to work with the drag and drop. Add something like this to your queryaddtofolder event in folders. Folderlookup happens to be the field name I chose for storing which folder this doc is in.
Sub Queryaddtofolder(Source As Notesuiview, Target As Variant, Continue As Variant)
'Apply folder-custom expiration if enabled
Dim session As New NotesSession
Dim dragdb As NotesDatabase
Set dragdb = session.CurrentDatabase
If session.GetEnvironmentString("CustomExpirationEnabled") = "1" Then
Call StampDocExExpireDate(Source,Target,Continue)
End If
Dim dragdoc As NotesDocument
Set dragdoc = dragdb.GetDocumentByID(Source.CaretNoteID)
If (dragdoc.Form(0) = "Memo") Or (dragdoc.Form(0) = "Reply") Then
dragdoc.FolderLookup = Target
Call dragdoc.Save(True, False)
End If
End Sub

Oh, and yes I have FolderReferencesEnabled turned on, the proper views are there ($FolderInfo, $FolderRefInfo, etc), my docs have the various $folderref fields there and populated…
If this isn’t broken, then am I just missing something?
