Does anyone know how I could write some lotusscript to update the signature preference in a notes 8.5 mail database? I would like to import an html file.
I’m trying to duplicate the actions of going into preferences, selecting the signature tab, and the clicking on signature text button, select import and then pick my html file…all via lotusscript on the backend so the end user doesn’t have to do it.
Can you please explain to me how you solved this issue?
We have a employee db, where people can create their signature. So from there I also want to import the created htm file into the user’ CalendarProfile (via LotusScript).

Please take a look at my SignatureManager for Notes 8.5.1
As from Notes 8.5.1 the mail design now stores the signature in a profile document in the mail-database. Using the SignatureManager you can mailmerge the signatures with data from the server NAB (including support for formula language) and push the Notes and iNotes signatures into users’ mail databases.
