Does anyone know how to export then import mail file data in the correct format as to make sure it is imported correctly in the inbox and subfolders of the inbox? What format do you save it in so it looks the same when you import it back into the client

use the export wizard in notes client from file menu to export the mails.
Select any format to export.
For avoiding any confusions you can export one folder at a time.
When you need to import… just use the file menu action and then import using form “MEMO”. The mails will automatically be placed in a folder from where they were exported.
