I just registered and got my SSL Certificate from godaddy and it comes as a file called www.xxx.com, however when I try to import it into my Keyring it says it can’t recognize the file, and I don’t see how to the the cert key out of it to paste it into the Key ring or install it as a trusted root.
This shouldn’t be too difficult but I’m stumped.

GoDaddy will not exist in the keyfile you created with the Server Certificate admin database so the Trusted Root will have to be installed first and then the site certificate they stamped. There is a technote that describes this procedure at the link below.

Take a copy of the file and rename it as a .crt file - Should import OK then.
