Import resulting in $19 field

I’m migrating data from one database to another. My steps are as follows:

  1. Create view in old system showing all data

  2. Create view in new system exactly in same format as old

  3. Export view #1 in wks format

  4. Import into view 2 from wks file

I’ve done this for 10 views and all have gone great. This 11th one creates a $19 field with data in it from one field. All the rest of the fields have come across fine except for this one, which has been translated into a $19.

Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but I cannot reference $19 anywhere to build an agent to get the data anywhere.

Has anyone seen this or know how to fix it?

Are you importing your WKS as view title defined? Did you check to see if the problem is in the WKS? I suspect it is the column title. If so, edit your WKS (or even better WK3) file using 1-2-3 or Excel and change the column title.
