We want to implement a newsletter for our town. We don’t want to use Lotus programming to do it, just copy and paste a PDF, JPEG, HTML, Word or whatever, file into the body of an e-mail and send it out. (We would send a text only version to those that sign up for it.) The problem is, whenever I use my Notes 7.0.2 client to send the message, the left side gets “squished”. For example, I used a table on the left side to display a meeting schedule and that table goes from taking a couple of lines to over a dozen lines. I have tried the same, sending the message from Web Access Notes, less squishing but still squished. Lotus Support is working on this but has anyone else come across this and found a workaround?
We are testing sending messages to hotmail, yahoo and Notes 6.5.4 recipient clients.
Please note, we are not developers or well-versed administrators here, we are a very small shop with one Domino server that is used for Notes mail only - we can’t even get our users to try calendar and scheduling - just mail.
