Import a single row from Excel to Notes

hi i have two Questions.

  1. Can any one tell me how to Import a single row from Excel to notes , Say for example the row with the first cell having a word john. And the whole value from the next cells , until the row completes.

    If possible try to get me the code.

  2. In the case of Export to Excel i need to color a cell based on some conditions how can we color a cell in the excel , & what r the other thing that can be done in the excel sheet using lotus script code.

  1. search the forum, there’s loads of examples of how to import stuff from excel

  2. you can do just about anything you want when exporting - just create a macro in excel and copy the code into lotusscript (syntax is slightly different, watch out for any constants that excel uses, you’ll need to get the values from the object browser)

i searched the forum , but i did not get the answer how to import any single row of excel to notes rich text item (Table).

how to color the cells in the excel based on the value of the cell.

What are you struggling with? Post your code and I’ll have a look at it.

Is the problem the rich text table and updating that (that’s a very different question than what you posted before), and with the color of the cell, have you got the VBA syntax from the macro? If so, post what you’ve got in lotusscript and let us know the errors you might be getting.
