When receiving email from the internet with images, somtimes the images are not showing but there is a red cross. The images are moved as attachments in top of the message.I don’t have a link “Show images”.
When I forward the message to an internal user and he sends ik back, images are displayed correctly.
In the person document, Format prefecence for incoming mail is set to Keep in senders format.
Subject: Can you access the images using a browser ?
If you have a proxy or a filter on your network which filters some url that’s maybe your problem. So take the url of the broken image, paste it in your browser.
If the picture appears in the browser, check the way your pc have access to the internet (especially proxy config).
If the picture does not appear then either it is filtered on your network or the url is wrong !
A filter problem?Where the images should show in the body, there is a rectangle with a red cross. The images are attachments in the attachment section of the message. When clicking these attachments, the immages are visible.
I think it is some setting anywhere in a configuration but I don, t know which it should be.
I wrote in my question: In the person document, Format prefecence for incoming mail is set to Keep in senders format.
