We have quite a few staff with this problem. At the moment we are running domino 5.11 backend with Notes 6.01 clients, its just temporaryAnyway , When users receive emails with embedded html such as news letters etc. The images appear as a red. ie: the image is not being displayed.
I have tried to think of everything to fix this with no luck. We had this problem on the 5 client as well. Does anyone know why this is?

The problem is there is not perweb.nsf file created yet. This file can be copied from one computer to another and it will work, or to create the file, be sure they have upgraded their personal address book. Then edit the current location and go into the Internet Browser tab. Chances are right now it is set to Internet Explorer (or maybe Netscape). Change it to Notes with Internet Explorer and then save and close. Try to open one of those e-mails and close it. Now go back into the current location and change it back to the way you had it, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer. Now it should have created the perweb.nsf. We have had mixed results with that fix, but that is what Lotus tech support reccomended. But copying the file works every time.
