Image not displaying on lotus notes mail

When email is recieved - on LN mail images are not getting displayed . A red cross sign comes in place of the image . After clicking on show images only image is visible on mail.

Mail is sent from another application where image is placed in html format.

Please help if images can be viewed on lotus mail .

Subject: Image not displaying on lotus notes mail

Most likely the image is PNG, which Notes release 7.0.3 didn’t support.

Upgrade to a later version or change the image format being sent out by the other application.
