I'm looking for user documention of elastic search in V6.5

In the past IBM provided extended documentation about the search options available in Connections. I found a lot o technical, installation/configuration and troubleshooting information.

Except from the very basic information I did not found any relevant user documentation (Searching Connections (hcltechsw.com))

Please provide any suggestions or tips

I have the feeling, you mixed 2 things here:

In the Subject you refere to Elasticsearch but in the text you refere to the content search of Connections.

Users do not interact with Elasticsearch. Therefore you will not find any user related documentation here.

Elasticsearch is used for

  • Metrics. So yousers can view the available reports but have no further options: https://help.hcltechsw.com/connections/v65/user/eucommon/t_eucommon_metrics.html
  • Type Ahead Search. The function is available or not. Users have no options to search here in more detail:
  • Somehting in OrientMe: Users also have no option to search here in more detail.

The normal content search has not changed (yet?). So the search options (e.g. advanecd search) has not changed in the last versions of connections. So the link you provided is still the correct one and I don't know any other more detailed description.

We received in the past information Elasticsearch would be integrated in search.

@Martijn de Jong @Remco Angioni could you please advise ?
