Excuse the Sametime question posted in the Notes 8.5 Forum…but the issue is with the integrated Sametime client within Notes 8.5.1.
We suspect that this may be a WAN issue; but I’m wondering if anyone has seen this or has any ideas. Of course…nothing documented in the knowledge base about the error (that I could find). Our time has been too tight to open a PMR yet.
When starting a chat with a user that shows a status of on-line, the following error is received:
The error doesn’t come up immediately. Maybe 10 seconds elapse from the time the first chat message is sent to getting this error. On checking with the user on the other end, they never saw any chat.
Sometimes trying again with the same user works, sometimes it will not.
