Illegal use of PROPERTY

Dim i as integeri = doc.SelectedElement(0) - 1

doc.Field(i) = dlgDoc.Field(0)

===> Error 189: Illegal use of PROPERTY

I Know, that doc.Field(i) ist not allowed.

But i don’t know how to assign a value to the (i) element in a multivaluefield in lotus script.

Any help would be appreciated

Move all the values of doc.field to an array, then set the array offset to the value, and then simply call doc.replaceItemValue( “field”, your array)

store all the elements in an array/variant and then edit the array and again set the array as the field value
