I’ve run compact -REPLICA on a handful of Domino servers.
My latest attempt is on a 9.0 IF5 server. It always seems that when I include the -IDS_FULL option, it gets ignored.
I just ran the following on a server with 130 mail databases:
load compact mail -REPLICA -IDS_FULL 080 -REN_WAIT 5 -Restart
There was no evidence of a single database not matching the 80% fullness criteria. According to the Database Maintenance Tool (DBMT) Open Mic, when a database doesn’t match the criteria (a.k.a. no work is needed) it shows up like “Compact of c:\server\data\mail\sender.nsf failed”. I see no case of that for any of the 130 databases.
Any ideas?
