Since starting the upgrade to Notes 8.0.2 we’re having a problem where people’s id files are going missing.
It appears to happen quite randomly to different users, some people have had the issue more than once.
Not all staff have been upgraded yet, but those that have had initial training on the new client get a new policy assigned to them and access to the smart upgrade.
Not all the users having the problem have actually upgraded their client though, some of them are still on 7.0.3.
I can only think it’s something to do with an update via the policy which is causing the ids not to be saved properly.
The ids are on a network file share (as they’ve always been and this is the first time it’s ever happened), no access rights have changed to the id files, and I am able to salvage the files reasonably easy enough. However this is of course a big problem when people can’t get to Notes at all.
Anyone seen anything like this/can suggest anything that might be causing it?
