I’ve posted this here as well as in the Team Workplace forum as I’m hoping that the answer may be a Domino Server config issue rather than Team Workplace.
The problem I have is with “generated” invitations that are sent from the TW server via email. The recipients use Exchange/Outlook 2000.
If I send an invitation from a “registered” notes user using the notes Client, I can get the invitation to render properly in the recipients outlook inbox. (providing I force the server to convert the mail message by selecting “prefers rich text” in my mail preferences)
However a server generated one like a Team Workplace Calendar Entry sends the message through with an .ics (ical) file attachment.
Has anyone got any ideas or can you suggest a way or configuring outgoing mail to ensure all invitations ar ereceived at the other end correctly.
If its an exchange issue (or configurable) any suggestions for that end would be welcome too
