I hope I find someone here who has maybe already implemented similar and possibly experience and advice which can help us to solve the problem.
The issue is not really a Notes / Domino / Traveler topic, but perhaps still know someone advice.
We are currently implementing the following:
The Traveler server has to be disappear from the DMZ to the internal LAN in order to increase security and to increase the use of MobileIron.
For this, the request will be then passed over a Citrix load balancers onto 2 MobileIron Sentries and from there to the Traveler server (HA incl. MS SQL database).
Unfortunately, the requests seems to get caught on the MobileIron Sentry with the following errors:
EXCEPTION: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: null cert chain; Proxy Enabled flag: false
IOException: null cert chain
Exception reported by IO thread: null cert chain Caused by javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: null cert chain
The load balancers have been turned off, the request still does not go through. We have a device directly configured to one of the two
Traveler server, then it is working properly - all content is synchronized correctly.
The recent Traveler server in the DMZ already operate with the same upstream load balancer for several years without any Problems.
We use a purchased wildcard SSL Certificate which we have installed in a corresponding KYR file on the Domino server.
The Certificate has been checked that Certificate chain is correct.
Unfortunately the statements from MobileIron currently very thin in this regard.
I hope that maybe find someone here will with an idea, otherwise I thank you in advance to all interested …
