Does IBM Lotus Notes SQL Driver 8.5 support 64bit? The link on the documentation site doesn’t work so I’m not sure if it does or not.
Subject: No 64-bit edition of Notes SQL
There is no 64-bit edition of Notes SQL. It should work in toleration mode so you could run it with 32-bit Notes or Domino. Since we only have 64-bit editions of Domino and not Notes, what is your use case? Sounds like you were thinking of using it on a machine where a Domino 64-bit server was installed.
Subject: thanks
Thanks for the info. My college is setting up a SQL 2008 64bit server that needs to talk to our domino databases, and he says he needs a 64bit notes SQL driver. I will pass on this info. Maybe we can find a third party 64bit ODBC driver from DataDirect or Merant.

Tim
Subject: When will 64-bit edition of Notes SQL be available?
We need a 64-bit version of NotesSQL in order to query NSF files on Domino servers from a 64-bit third-party application which normally uses ODBC to access data which have been stored in Lotus Notes.
I cannot find this in IBM’s software repository, or anywhere else.
Does anyone know when a 64 bit ODBC driver for Notes SQL will be available?
Do you have a link/e-mail/phone number to the organization that produces this application?
Subject: Need 64-bit version of NotesSQL
I’m stuck. I am running SQL Server 2005 64-bit on Windows 2008 R2 64-bit. I need to create a linked server to a Lotus Notes database. The linked server software is looking for a 64-bit ODBC driver. Does anyone out there know when this is going to be available? Is there a third party driver available?
