Problem is, the steps in the hike window don't match the Visualizer screen. For example, in the hike where we create a login screen, I am told add the onClick event and there isn't one. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

Please check if you have followed all the steps mentioned in the hikes.
For example, these are the steps which you must have finished before adding the onClick event.
1) Created a login form
2) Added the login collection from the default Library tab
3) Selected the Login button on the Visualizer Canvas (the center part of your Visualizer).
4) On the right side of your screen, you should see a Properties panel which has an Action tab. You must see the onClick event here.
Also, please note that Hikes are only meant for Kony Visualizer Starter.

--> You may right click on the widget on canvas to see the events associated with it.
Thank you for your help. The issue turned out to be Visualizer was not installed correctly on my laptop.
