I am able to replicate my mailfile only once

Hello , can someone help please :

With my notes client 5.0.11 I had no problems and I was able to replicate my mailfile.

After installing a new client 6.02 CF1 I am not able to replicate my local mailfile

with my server based mailfile.

What happens instead ?

  • replication starts as normally

  • my client is connected to my mailserver

  • my client says: receiving dexxxxxxx.nsf from d12xxxxxx/12/M/IBM mail3\dexxxxxx.nsf

  • the progress bar on the left says: 1 of 1 database 25 %

  • the great progress bar says: 0 %

  • and that is all

  • no error message

  • no message at all even if I wait for hours

  • a ping to my mailserver is possible at this time

  • I am not even able to stop the replication process, I have to kill my notes task instead

Now the next phaenomen:

If I restart my Win2000 and edit my NOTES.INI only to the basic lines in it, start my notes client again and do a basic setup (what is your mailserver, where is your id file and so on…) everything works fine and I am able to replicate this time. Only this time, yes.

If I restart my PC completely and try to replicate a second time … same behavior as before,

  • the progress bar on the left says: 1 of 1 database 25 %

  • the great progress bar says: 0 %

  • and that is all

  • no error message

  • no message at all even if I wait for hours

How to fix it ???

Hmmm, have you tried the usual bag of tricks.

Compact the Workspace…

Delete the cache.ndk and restart

Delete the cache.ndk and the desktop6.ndk and restart

Try Deleteing also the bookmark.nsf and restarting.

Are you able to right click and foreground replicate with options?

Thanks for your help…I found the solution in an other forum in the meantime. The problem was an other software called Stampede Turbo Gold. After uninstalling this software everything works fine.
