Http in DMZ

Hi all,

I have this scene:

-ServerA(LAN): with mailfiles and without the http service.

-ServerB(DMZ): with the http service and without mailfiles.

Can I use Domino web Access(inotes) with the this scene?

Any suggestion ?

Thanks!

If you want to keep this scenario, you’ll need to set up a box with a reverse proxy server in the DMZ, something like Websphere Edge Server. This is what Countrywide does to give their 10,000 employees access to their mail files outside the DMZ.

You can’t access serverA via serverB to open mailfiles using iNotes. But you could use a Notes client to authenticate with and passthru serverB to access mailfiles on serverA.

I think you’ll have to put a replica of the mail files onto your DMZ server. You’d also need to enable some form of mail routing for any outbound email iNotes users may generate.
