We created a header response (since no more httpd.cnf) per some other postings. It is not working. At first, we created the “errors” folder under the /data then moved under another directoiry outside /data (directory link). We can see the error page… but if we type http://www.company.com/123.html (where 123.html does not exist), the standard page 404 comes up.
Subject: HTTP Header Response (404, 500) - Not Working
No progress… even tried w/o quotes. I also just dropped it down to only 404 and replaced the previous values with Value=Error-Message & Value=This file does not exist on our site…" This example came from the LDD Today article (specifically bottom of article):
note: I tried disabling “Show friendly HTTP…” in the advanced section of IE’s internet options. I also tried Firefox w/o success. This seems simple… what is missing. We are using single session auth. but that should not matter (only for domcfg and custom forms). Help!
Is there something missing re: server configuration? Obviously “load internet configurations” is working… our site is functioning fine. I just want to make sure that no other setting is required/missing. The redirection rule was created under our “primary internet site” doc.
