HTML Tables - Notes Client Side looses formating

Good Day,

I am experiencing an issue where I have a Form that has been designed completely web based. I hoped that the form would carry over to Client side without issue but the formating is completely lost as soon as the first Notes Field is encountered. Is this a normal issue of a me issue??

I have the first couple lines below upto where it errors out… which is of course the first Notes Field.

center>

<tbody>

	<table border="1" cellpadding="8" cellspacing="0" width="80%">

		<tr valign="center" bgcolor="#8cb094">

		<td width="100%" colspan="4">

                       <p align="center" ><font face="Verdana" size="2" color="#ffffff"><b>Process

                      Change Request Form</b></font></p>

                  </td>

                </tr>

                <tr valign="top">

                  <td width="25%"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><b>&nbsp;</b></font></td>

                  <td width="25%"><font face="Verdana" size="2">&nbsp;</font></td>

                  <td width="25%"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><b>Status:</b></font></td>

                  <td width="25%">[NotesField]</td>

                </tr>

This displays as it should until it reaches the notesfield at which point the table stops being generated and all the fields are just listed one after another below the second row of the table.

Any pointers appreciated…

Subject: HTML Tables - Notes Client Side looses formating

Notes fields don’t work in HTML pass-through for Notes Clients. I use HTML for formating tables for viewing data and use a notes area for data entry.

2 forms is the easiest (same name with one for html & one for notes client) since the navigation, field validation and look is usualy different for both version.

Design a separate form / subform for the Notes client if you want to keep your sanity.

Seriously, Notes-to-web works but doesn’t look nice unless you are good with CSS. Web-to-Notes is not normally the way people go…
