When receiving an SMTP HTML email into an R6 client the email is being rendered as Rich Text instead of HTML. This means that the style sheet is being ignored, the images and background are also lost. Although the embeded links work, the included button image and logos are lost making the form look defective.
I have checked the settings on the server for each of the mail accounts and for each the “Format preference for incoming mail” is set to “Keep in senders format”.
Is there some other setting on the server that I need to be checking or is there a problem with R6.5 rendering HTML email?
We are receiving the same problem here. To confirm the problem, I changed the internet browser option in notes to the NOTES option and then tried to use the notes browser to hit a web site. The file it posted back gave me the error of PROXY server unable to authenticate user bad name or password.
We tried to manually at the details of the proxy server with the correct user name and password and still got the same message. It look like the notes browser cant authenticate through to the internet to download the rest of the email.
