Hi Team,

I Have free trial fabric cloud account which is having sample custom applications(https://manage.kony.com/console). How to use these service in kony visualizer without installing kony mobile fabric?. So, what url I have to give in kony visualizer fabric window. Is this possible? Pls help me.

Are you using Visualizer Enterprise? if yes, you can use https://manage.kony.com by default to use fabric.

Make sure you are logged in with your manage.kony.com credentials to make use of Kony fabric cloud.

Also let us know which version of Visualizer you are using.

Yes , Enterprise 7.3 version and am trying with same URL but the visualizer throwing error like "Not able to reach server running at the URL Mentioned" .

Hi @Lvwwy Pennington​ ,

Please use https://manage.kony.com in Preferences>Kony Visualizer>MobileFabric. Do not use console at the end.

If you are still getting error, Please attach logs from these 2 locations.

<users>/<user_name>/Kony Visualizer/vizdata/logs

<workspace>/.metadata/.log

Can you go to Window>Show View > Error log, click on the error and provide the screenshot.

Stacktrace is not available in metadata logs, ideally it should be there.

Also can you confirm if you are behind a close network with proxy?

Yes, we are using proxy network. But when I updating kony viz 7.2 to 7.3 there is no internet related issue. PFA required screenshots.

Hi @Lvwwy Pennington​ ,

Downloading plugins might not have created issues as proxy is configured for eclipse. For visualizer components to work without any issues, please configure proxy as per the steps mentioned in the documentation below.

Please make sure you have the configuration as per the doc.

Hi,

I have followed the document to set the proxy in visualizer. But still am facing the same error, PFA manual proxy settings screenshot. And also please check previous network connection attachment automatically detect proxy. Please help me.

Let's do this.

Can you go to Window>Show View > Error log, click on the error and provide the screenshot. Provide the screenshot of the stack trace and not only error log.

Also provide screenshot of your proxy setting (Blurr if there are any private details).

Also make sure that in system Advanced proxy setting, you have unchecked use the proxy for all configuration and use it for http/https only.

Please uncheck the top 2 boxes as Visualizer only supports manual proxy.

Visualizer does not work with auto detect or configuration script. please uncheck those boxes.

Second thing is,

Please check bypass proxy server box. (if you check the documentation link, it clearly mentions to check this box and uncheck above 2).

After these 2, make sure the proxy is configured in eclipse.ini too and try restarting Visualizer Enterprise.
