How to upgrade domino server from 6.0 to 6.5?

dear all, I want to upgrade my domino server from 6.0 to 6.5,

but i don’t know how can i do, please help me …

Hi Chow bin,you can take the fast forward approach. The main differences between 6.0 and 6.5 is the support for sametime. So you can just:

  • down the server

  • Install 6.5 off the installation CDs

  • start the server

  • say yes to an eventuall question “upgrade design”

  • load design

… and you are done.

After that you can sit down and plan if and how to deploy sametime. 6.5 comes with a limited licence (only chat, only with the notes client - anybody correct me if I’m wrong)
