How to update embedded Excel chart without reopening it in edit mode

I have seen posts regarding this, but never was paying much attention to them. Now I am facing this problem, but unfortunately can’t find any post with real solution :frowning:

I have in rich text field with embedded Excel sheet & chart, which is updated by LS in backend. However, when opening document in frontend, chart displays old values. Only after opening the object in edit mode new values show up.

Is there any way how to refresh chart without reopening it?
