Question… I am trying to enforce the user to import an image into an rtf but I don’t know how to check the field to ensure that there is something there. As in otherwords… I cannot find a formula that will check to see if an rtf has an embedded object so that if it doesn’t I can raise the red flag on save and tell the user that it is a no go. Maybe I have to look at LS for this?
Subject: How to tell if an RTF has an embedded/imported image
You will need to do this in LS; however, be aware that the document will not identify itself as having anything in the RTF until it is saved and as such you will need to do a double save to get the handle to the correct RTF, and then possibly remove the saved document if it is a ‘no go’.
