How to set ecl on server & have clients automatically inherit ecl set on server

When some Notes clients access Notes apps, they’re presented with that pesky “Trust Signer”, “Execute Once”, “Abort” dialog box in which they’re not sure which of the aforementioned choices to select.

I’m told that setting an “ECL” on the server and having the client automatically accept that ECL is the way to eliminate that box.

So the question becomes:

  1. How to set the/an ECL on the server? and

  2. How does that ECL get pushed to the client (or how does the client inherit the ECL automatically, whichever is the case)?

any ideas?

Thanks a lot,

Domino creates a default administration ECL, which you can customize. The admin ECL exists on disk, once an administrator modifies and saves it. Once the modified administration ECL is saved to disk, then that is the ECL that is copied to users workstation. read up on Administration ECL.

Hopes that points you in the right Direction.

Thanks for the tips, what I did is checked off all the “Enforce in child policies” checkboxes under the “Execution Control List” tab

We’ll see if that works,
