programming is fine, but all the stuff about installing a server…I’ve installed Notes, Domino,… all Release 6. Now I’ve created a Database which runs correctly on my local System. When the company, which wants to use this DB on it’s server, starts the DB the Message “Illegal function call” appears. So I need to run the DB on my Server. BUT I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO DO THIS!
Please tell me in short letters, what to do.
Start the Domino server as service/program?
How can I administer the server?
Where do I have to place a copy of the database?
How can I access my local server with the Administrator?
in any case you need an domino administrator client to administrate an server. Be sure you have the admin-id for install created at setup of domino. For help take a look in the online adminnistration help (setting up a domino server).
