Hello, We set Editor access on all the mailfiles. Unfortunatelly users’ archive files inherited this change and this causes headache for us. Having this ACL level users are not able to modify the title of their archive, which would needed for make difference between the files.
Is there any way to handle the ACL for archive files separated? Any other idea would be appreciated.

You will have ENFORCE CONSISTANT ACL ticked.
Untick this (using a Administrator) and then you should be able to change the DB will full access to the DB. This is because the DB is local and such the ACL for Local access will be ignored…Archive settings are picked up from the mail file being archived.
Physical access to the DB overrides the ACL unless ENFORCE CONSISTANT ACL is checked.

Thank you for your idea, I didn’t mention that we don’t use Consistent ACL on the databases. In addition if somebody isn’t in the local archive ACL, he has manager access on the database.
