How to pass Parameters thru agent URL

Hello Everybody

We are trying to create and modify documents thru Lotus agents from ASP .Net environmet

C Sharp program from .NET suppose to run an agent on Lotus Notes and modify the existing document.

.NET program is able to call the agent, but not able to passing the parameters.

Please can anybody help me how to pass the parameters from the calling agent URL.

You can pass many types of information to an agent via CGI. It is not that difficult. Of course you are limited to how much data you can pass, due to limitations of CGI itself, but if the data or information being sent is minimal, you are set.

You’ll need to download an example db from my codes db for the stuff you need. Please reference the WebStandAlone agent for the information you need. Also, please note that in each of these function in the WebStandAlone agent they reference the CGI as a document. This can be found in the Script Library.

In the end you’d pass something like this to an agent:

http://www.domain.com/db.nsf/Agent?OpenAgent&Var1=variable text&Var2=variable text 2 etc
