How to open digitally signed messages?

Dear Friends, i am solving an interesting problem. Employees reads digitally signed messages in iNotes. This messages are important, the trouble is, that some employess can read (Dont have Lotus Notes) and some cant read. When try opended this message, so then the message enter the password for the ID file will appear. I imported root certificate in Domino Direcotry form this CA.

It is very interesting, that the older employees open the message and the younger ones do not. I looked for the differences between the employees in the address book and everything is the same. Policy to.

The only difference is that these messages will
be opened by employees previously registered in DD 
(Several years 2012-18).
I cant find this reason, can you help me please?

@Jan Pavelka , not sure to understand to you mean S/MIME encryption or signature?

First point to check is: are your new users do have their Notes ID in their mailfile?

To verify, launch iNotes, in the user name click Preferences > Security and check the ID is available (imported during the user account creation, or manually or by the Domino ID Vault)

Dear Jerome, you are right. We deployed ID Vault in 2020. This is the reason, becasue new persons have ID in Vault and when opened from iNotes, then is required password to ID file. Thank You. JP
