I would appreciate if someone could help me with the following;
I am working as a business consultant and I have projects with several hundreds of contacts. In order to make them “understandable” I have done different views for example; Construction companies, Importers, Distributors etc. Everys such contact has different responsdocuments and “Status” documents i.e. phonecalls, meetings etc
So I have the following view in my LOTUS DOMINO DESIGNER; SELECT ContainsPresentSituation; “Byggföretag”))
My problem is that I can not see my response documents i.e. contact persons and status documents. Thus I have to jump between different views and that is time consuming as well as messy!
I would be happy if someone could help me to create the correct formula.
Best regards
Jan

Just append to your selection formula.
| @IsResponceDoc;
(the pipe means or)

SELECT selectionFormula | @AllChildren
or
SELECT selectionFormula | @AllDescendants
Check out the help.

Definitely use these:
SELECT selectionFormula | @AllChildren
or
SELECT selectionFormula | @AllDescendants
and be VERY CAREFUL about using
SELECT selectionFormula | @IsResponseDoc
If you use @IsResponseDoc and do a CTL+A in a view to select all documents, you are selecting response docs that might not be seen and if you then delete all selected docs, you could be deleting response docs that you did not want to delete.

It works!
I am very happy!
Many thanks to all of you!

Also, you might want to consider adding response only columns to your view to show those response documents (it’s a column property) and in the VIEW properties, on the second tab, select Show Response Documents in a Hierarchy. This is what causes your response documents to show up under their parent documents.
