How to make an event to view in Lotus Calendar

I’m able to add the calendar event to lotus by opening the session in C# , but i’m unable to view it in the Lotus pim .I used the following statements to save and view the event in Lotus .

event.Save(true, true, false);

event.AppendItemValue(“ApptUNID”,event.UniversalID);

event.Save(true, true, false);

view.SelectionFormula = "SELECT Form = "Appointment" ";

view.Refresh();

whether the above statements are correct or not . please reply
