I have create the database(A) to collect all db information in my company. Use one document to display one database information. When any database’s ACL has been changed , I want to modify the specific document in database(A) automatically. How should I do?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

what kind of info are you collecting? Doesn’t the catalog.nsf database provide you with enough info? It keeps track of the ACL for every database as well as alot of other info.
Subject: RE: How to know the DB ACL has been changed?
Because the database(A) is the kind of notes portal. User only use this DB to browse all notes databases in my company. I need to know the ACL for each DB to control who can access which database. So when DB’s ACL has been changed I need to know that in the database(A).
Subject: Group Access?
Are you using groups in the Directory to grant access to the databases? Or are you putting usernames in directly?
If you are using groups, then you can user @UserNamesList to get back all the groups to which a user belongs. If the user is member of the group that has access to the database, then you can show them the link.
Otherwise, you may have to run an agent every five minutes or so that goes out and finds the ACLs of the database and store a list. You can’t trap exiting a database ACL unless you create your own interface for changing it.

Because there are different ACL in each database , I put usernames in directly. I ever think I can use daily agent to do this . But consider the performance issue, there are too many databases in it( maybe 50 ~ 100) , If modify all ACLs in db lists each time per day, It will spend too much time.
