Hi,
Actually my Domino Server V6 have been installed and configured without ADSync in Windows Server 2003.
I would like to synchronize password between AD and Domino NAB.
1/ Can activate ADSync on this server by an upgrade without re-install Domino server ? Or what is the best way ?
2/ After that, I have to go to MMC and configure Synchronization ?
Someone can help me or have information, tutorial about this subject ?
Thank in advance.
Subject: How to install and configure synchronisation with ADSync ?
The only way to effectively synchronize passwords using just Notes/Domino and Active Directory is to utilize a two-pronged approach:
-
Implement Notes ID to Internet password synchronization in Notes/Domino.
-
Use Notes Single Login to synchronize the AD password to the Notes ID password.
Tivoli offers products that can provide more robust solutions.

Thank for your response. You described me two others solutions :
1- implement synchonization between Notes Id and Internet Password. Then Use Notes Single Login to synchronize AD password and Notes Id password.
2- Tivoli products.
Question : Is it difficult make the first and second solution ?
For the first solution, does it mean we have to develop in Lotusscript program that synchronised ?
Can you give me more information how to implement that.
Thanks.

Notes ID to Internet password synchronization is done through a policy. Notes Single Login is a feature that can be optionally installed with the client and runs as a system service listening for password changes. Neither requires custom programming.
InfoCenter has all of the documentation on how to configure these features.
