How to implement synchronization between Domin and active directory

I would like to know how to synchronize the Names.nsf with AD.

Is it during the setup of Lotus Notes server ? Where exactly ?

Have you a documentation about that ?

Is it posssible to customize or how to program the customization of the synchronization (formulas or lotus script )?
