The only way I think is of reading the required field values in “PostOpen” event of the form and then comparing the same in “Query/PostSave” event of the form.

Where exactly do you want to check this.

I want to check this in a button say save.i want a msgbox only if any of the field is modified.For ‘notesuidocument’ ‘modifiedsincesaved’ will do.How it can be implemented for a ‘notesdocument’.

There is an undocumented @ formula to do this… I just can’t remember what it is or find the reference to it.
